How breathing is killing us slowly?
We inhale Oxygen and exhale carbon-di-oxide during breathing. Oxygen contains 6 electrons in its outer shell but it always seeks for electrons from other atoms and it tries to hold 8 electron in its shell so that it can be stable. Generally oxygen pair with 2 hydrogen that is H2O . We are getting energy due to the oxidation process while breathing, about 97% of oxygen is used for producing energy and the other 3% of oxygen will pair with one hydrogen molecule and become OH ions, these OH ions tries to pair with other proteins and fats and will change theirs molecular structure, due to this process our body immune cells assume these changed structure of protein cells as an enemy cell and will destroy it, this phenomena is moreover like a cancer process, However these process are not done in a single day.
Breathing is not controlled consciously, it is controlled by our subconscious mind, because we don't concentrate on breathing every second but it always happening. Breathing is the only thing that judges weather you are alive or not. If breathing is permanently stopped that means a person is considered dead. So, breathing is very important to all living beings.

Breathing has the power to change the mood. It is a psychological fact that If you are angry you breathe slowly than at other times. If you are happy your breath is faster than other times. In hard times close your eyes and take a deep breath you will find peace. Always try to breathe fresh air it plays a vital role in changing your mood, try relaxing sometimes outside your house and get some fresh air. Do meditate it change will your mood, if you need to sleep do meditate, if you need to calm down do meditate, if you need to concentrate on anything do meditate. So through meditation, you can change your mood. In the ancient period, people are alive for more than five hundred yeare[5] because they don't breathe fast they breathe clean air and slowly but nowadays the worries make us breathe faster and also oxygen is not pure but breathing has the power to change your mood within five[5] minutes so try it.
AN INTERESTING FACT :
The slower you breathe the longer you live.., Ex: dogs breathe faster than us that's why their average life span is 15-20 years for humans we breathe slowly compare to dogs so our average life span is 65 years, for tortoise can live 100 years it breath's more slowly than us. That's why we should do Meditation since we breathe slowly during meditation it gives peace and a long happy long life. So always breathe slowly in the anger and worried time. It makes you live more than 80[eighty] years.
